Robot force sensing

Robotic force sensors are used when it's necessary for a robot to sense output force and understand the interaction it is having with objects in a cell.  Most commonly used in assembly and grinding/polishing operations..

These sensors mimic the sensitivity that a human has when performing an operation, and they allow a robot to do activities that would otherwise be impossible.

Force sensors are perfect for

  • Precision assembly
  • Contouring to an object's shape
  • Polishing and grinding
  • Deburring
  • Inspection
